Hello reader(s), I’ve been a bit MIA for a while and I don’t know about you, but I think it was a much needed MIA…for me at least. Anyways, I’m back and I could say I’m better but I’m not entirely sure I’d mean that. The truth is I’m back here with all the unpredictability and volatility that follows.
Some time ago, I decided to numb my creative side allowing me to focus on what I thought was important. Then I spoke to my friend the other day and she told me not to, so I’m not doing that anymore. Apparently, it’s okay to be good at more than one thing. Who knew? I never really supported the whole “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” thing. I am more of a Mark Twain-ian, who believes in putting all your eggs in one basket and not letting that basket out of your sight under any circumstance, even if a clan of Red Indians are chasing after you with feathered spears.
So, this is going to be a “thing” now, this Monthly Photography Challenge thing. This particular month, the challenge is about “LOVE”; the most inexplicable of emotions and something I have been thought to be a newcomer to. Also, it’s the month of february, with the Valentine’s day and what not. So I thought to myself, why not, why not make the first monthly challenge about love?
This whole thing is mostly for me, but you could also be a part of it too. Just post the link to YOUR image (or the image itself) that has anything remotely to do with love, on the comments bar and I’ll look it up. You could also tag me to it on Instagram @victor_enas. If I love your image enough I’ll feature it in my collection and you’ll be proud of yourself, even though I really know nothing about good photography and I’m just in it for the fun. If I don’t feature it, I’m awfully sorry; I can be a bit of an ass sometimes.
That’s it for today. I’ll post a picture later on and from then on it’d be a couple every 2 days, so it would really mean a lot to me if y’all checked them out and gave your opinion.
This doesn’t however mean that I’m a photographer or that this is a photography blog. This is about me, this is my thing and I love doing it a lot more than I love some human beings. So, thanks for reading and you can check out the next image and maybe possibly post yours if you feel kind enough to. You could also check out my page on FaceBook “Victor Ohwo Photography”, if you want to. I know I want to.
In oddly related news, I took a personality test and they told me I have no imagination.
